ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION
San Francisco Pride is the non-profit organization that produces the annual San Francisco Pride Celebration & Parade, as well as several other programs. SF Pride is dedicated to education about the LGBT community, the commemoration of LGBT heritage, and the celebration of LGBT culture and liberation. The annual budget is approximately $2 million. SF Pride has a seven-person staff, 11 contractors (responsible for services such as bookkeeping, and celebration specific services such as parade management), and an annual estimate of 400 volunteers. ABOUT THE POSITION
The Director of Sponsorship is responsible for developing and maintaining SF Pride’s relations with our corporate sponsors, media partners, travel partners, and nonprofit partners. The Director of Sponsorship reports to the Director of External Relations, and works as a team with the other members of the External Relations department: the Associate Director of Development, the Events Manager, and the Community Relations Manager.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 Bring in $500K to $650K in cash sponsorship and $1.5 million of in-kind hotels, media, flights, food and other necessities
 Market SF Pride events and programs
 Develop strategy for corporate fundraising efforts
 Research and identify potential new corporate sponsors and partners
 Cultivate potential new sponsors and partners
 Maintain and build on relationships with current donors
 Serve as the lead on the annual VIP party, as well as other events to honor sponsors

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
 Proven record in bringing in large dollar amounts and in-kind donations from corporate sponsors
 Five years experience in nonprofit fundraising
 Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field
 Solid ability to work in a team
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
 Bilingual proficiency in verbal and written Spanish
 MBA and/or experience working in the corporate sector
 Skill with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
