Senior Coordinator, Circular Economy and Sustainability Program
U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Corporate Citizen Center (CCC)
Support the senior director by helping develop and implement program strategy and activities that align with CCC’s mission and goals. Provide administrative, communications, research, event, and fundraising support.
Help design and execute program deliverables; monitor supporters’ involvement and identify opportunities for deeper engagement; provide communications support for the program, including writing, editing, and proofreading marketing emails, weekly newsletters, the blog, webpages, presentations, and social media posts; conduct research to stay abreast of circular economy and sustainability trends, organizations to engage, and issues to research further; develop agendas, coordinate speakers, handle registration and logistics for events; support fundraising efforts by identifying new funders, generating concepts and proposals, maintaining contacts in a CMS, and managing relationships; represent CCC at strategic events and meetings; manage senior director’s calendar and travel arrangements and handle related logistics for meetings scheduled.
Bachelor’s degree and a solid understanding of sustainability and corporate citizenship issues; excellent writing, editing, and proofreading; demonstrate initiative and able to manage multiple and competing priorities with little supervision; experience managing calendars and booking travel; strong research skills; experience planning and executing events; demonstrated success securing corporate sponsorships; superior interpersonal and customer service skills and able to successfully interact with senior-level executives; attention to detail; and a creative self-starter. Master’s degree and experience in the corporate sustainability field preferred.
